Qualification overview
The Certificate III in Individual Support course provides training for individuals who want to work in the aged care or disability support sectors.
The course aims to prepare you to provide person-centred care and support to elderly or disabled individuals in various settings, such as aged care facilities, home care, and community care.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
Upon completion, candidates would be able to study the CHC43015 or other courses within the Community Services Training Package

Entry requirement
- IELTS 5.5 equivalent / Upper-Intermediate English level
- Successful completion of Year 10 or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
Recognition of prior learning / credit transfer
- You will be given the opportunity to reduce your course length through recognition of prior learning or transferring credit from previously completed courses
